How does the post season affect my Elimination Pool?

Elimination pools that allow players to only choose a team x number of times will not enforce that rule during the playoffs. This allows any player still alive at the end of the season to not be automatically out of the poolif he/she already used all the chances for the playoff teams during the season.

Will I be notified if my pool is almost full?

Yes. By default, you will receive one email alert when your pool is 90% full. You will need to upgrade your pool if you wish to allow more than your current max players, otherwise the pool will lock and not allow any more players to join. You can turn this alert off/on using the "My ProFile" link found at the bottom of all pages while you are logged into your account.

How do NFL Auto Picks work?

You must enable auto-picks for each pool that you are in using the My Setting button from the pool's main page. Auto picks will run soon after the start of the first game of the week and will select the teams based on your settings.

For confidence pools, auto picks will assign 1 confidence point to the first game and count up to the max number of games, otherwise confident points will assign 16 points to the first game of the week and count down till the max number of games is reached for the week. Starting with 1 or 16 confidence point(s) for the first game is based on your pool rules.

How are tie-breakers treated for elimination pools?

Tie-breakers are considered losses for this pool type. This is because a tie does not add a win or a loss to the team's record and is therefor considered an incorrect pick.

How does TourneyTime handle the NFL flexible / flex schedule ?

The NFL flexible schedule system can change game time no less than twelve days prior to the matchup. This allows for teams to play themselves into prime time TV spots. TourneyTime handles this by updating game schedules each week. This means, the flex schedule changes will be loaded on or before the active week picks are open (typically Tuesdays at 2:00 AM). For more detail, please visit: http://www.nfl.com/schedules/tv/flexible

I made my picks, but why do I see an "Edit Picks" link in my column when I view my pool?

This link is provided to allow you to "Edit" your picks (i.e. make changes) anytime up to the tip-off of the first game on Thursday. If you click the HTML or PDF picks report and are happy with the selections, then there is nothing else to do.
