If I am the creator of a pool, do I also need to go through the "Join" process to become a participant?

No. If you select the "Join This Pool upon Creation" checkbox as you are creating your pool, you will automatically be added to that pool. However, if you forget or decide to join at a later time, you can still use the "Join a Pool" option to become a participant of the pool. Remember, anyone joining the pool after creation will require the pool entry password to join.

How do I enter all my paper brackets or include someone who doesn't have access to TourneyTime.com (Offline Manager)?

The "Offline Manager" is a tool pool managers use to add brackets/picks for players who DO NOT intend to login to the site (e.g. offline). It is also a great tool for manager's who run a manual pool and want to enter those paper brackets and let our service do all the scoring and reporting while they can enjoy more games! You can add offline players to pools with active players or just have a entirely offline pool.

To access the Offline Manager feature:
  • Login and view your pool
  • Drop down the "Manager Actions" menu and select the "Manage off-Line players"
  • Add offline accounts for each offline player you want to add (Note: previously created offline accounts will be available)
  • After the offline accounts are available, select the offline players and add them to your pool
  • Make picks for these players using the "Administer Picks" option from the "Manager Actions" drop-down menu

Will I be able to view all other pool players picks once the Tournament starts?

Yes you will! Once the Tournament is underway and the picks are locked down, you will be able to view other players picks from your pools page. A 'html' and 'pdf' link will be available in the "Picks Status" column under the "COMPLETE" message for each player that has a valid pick sheet. The "html" will show that players pick sheet in html format for faster loading and "pdf" will show the pick sheet in adobe acrobat reader. Both formats are printable and will indicate correct and incorrect picks as the Tournament progresses.

Am I able to upgrade my pool after making my payment?

Yes. When upgrading to a larger pool, you only pay the difference in the prices between the pools. We do not allow downgrades of pools once a pool has been purchased. To upgrade your pool, login to your TourneyTime account and the setting icon next your pool name in the "Pools I Manage" section. Change the size of your pool, click "Update Settings" then complete your payment. Please note, your pool will lock during the upgrade process, so pay immediately in order to keep your pool active. If you wish to reverse your upgrade (before you pay), repeat the steps above and set the pool size back to the original size you paid for and save the pool settings.

How does TourneyTime handle the play-in game for the NCAA Tournament?

In order to maximize the time allowed for members to make picks, TourneyTime does not require play in games to be selected. The winner of the play-in games will appear in the appropriate position on the bracket. Players are required to complete picks before the tip-off of the "Round of 64" and not prior to any play-in games.

What is the NCAA basketball picks deadline?

The deadline for the NCAA brackets is at tip-off of the "Round of 64" game on Friday following selection Sunday. All picks must be complete by that time. The play-in games are excluded and winners of the play-in games will be reflected in the bracket, but does not impact the picks or deadline. Please note: Pool managers have authority to make and update picks after this deadline.
